Zinedine Zidane must once again find way to rejuvenate stale Real Madrid

Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane admits his players were "angry" after conceding late on against Celta Vigo as they slipped further off the pace in La Liga.

The Chinese Super League are prepared to meet Real Madrid's £85 million valuation of the 28-year-old, who has struggled with injury this season. Maxi Gomez leveled for the hosts and Iago Aspas had victory at his mercy from the spot but saw his effort saved, not entirely legally, by Keylor Navas.

Lionel Messi marked his 400th appearance in La Liga with the opening goal as Barcelona eased to a 3-0 win over Levante at the Camp Nou on Sunday.

Under-pressure Zidane refused to reveal the finer details of the dressing room inquest but explained where his team went wrong.

MF Luka Modric, 5 - Started brightly but as frustration took hold lost possession several times, committed a few uncharacteristic fouls and generally didn't look up to the task at hand after the half-hour mark.

"We are not going to go crazy". Swapped to the left wing near the end of first half and was replaced midway through the second.

It was Cristiano Ronaldo who netted the winning goal in the final of that tournament against Gremio back on December 16.

MF Casemiro, 6 - Stung Ruben's palms with a cracking first-half shot, Real's best effort until that point, then picked up his customary yellow for an elbow on Hugo Mallo. "I'm happy with my squad", he is quoted as saying on realmadrid.com. "We believe in ourselves", he said, as quoted by Marca.

"We made many mistakes".

"He has the option to change [clubs] in the Premier League or if he wants to have experience away from the Premier League". Gerard Pique admitted that for the first time since arriving at the club in 2008, he felt Barcelona were "inferior" to Madrid. Kroos threads a pass in behind for Bale to chase and the Welsh winger gets there before the keeper to slide a finish into the empty net. Then our opponents lift themselves and you have your head down.

"We're growing in every sense and playing better".

The Premier League champions are hoping to agree a new contract with Courtois, whose current deal expires in 18 months' time.
